Here is some background information. The Super Minicup car is a ½ scale stock car built just like the Netxel Cup cars you see on TV. They have tube chassis, adjustable suspension, coil-over Carrera shocks, disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, etc.
The goal of the series is to provide an inexpensive entry level stock car racing experience for new drivers. There are two divisions that use the super minicup. One is for children aged 8-14 called the Junior Division. All older drivers compete in the Open class.
The cars are identical in every respect except that the Junior Division cars use a small carburetor to reduce the power of the engine. If you have always wanted to race but didn’t have the money, time, and pit crew, minicups may be the answer.

F.A.Q's
- How fast do these cars go? We get up over 100mph on the larger tracks. However, at our main tracks we go about 80mph.
- How safe are these cars? The cars have all the same safety features as a full size stock car and yes, unfortunately we have crashed it at 60mph head on in to the wall and walked away. It has a 5 point safety harness onboard fire system and drivers are required to wear helmets and firesuits.
- What can you do to the car? The cars have sealed engines to keep them competitive, but otherwise it has all the adjustments available that a full size stock car has, including shocks (ride) heights, caster, camber, track bar, weight distribution, etc.
- How Much Do They Cost? It is very affordable! You get all the fun of a Late-Model stock car (specifically, nearly the same speeds on small tracks) for a fraction of the price. Used cars cost between $3000 to $6000 and new cars are around $8000. Replacement parts and repairs are also cheaper than most forms of full size racing.
